PAK BOARD OF DIRECTORS MEETING 24 April 2025

Prishtinë    24/04/2025

The Board of Directors updated the list of assets for sale through public tender. The Board of Directors of the Privatization Agency of Kosovo (PAK), on April 15, held its regular meeting, during which a number of important issues were discussed and approved related to the continuation of privatization processes, property transformation, and the strengthening of institutional governance.

During this meeting, the Board was informed that following an initiative by the management to investigate potentially unregistered assets in the PAK’s records, it was found that there are an additional 460 assets (cadastral plots) and 33 new entities that the PAK had not previously recorded. The total area of these assets is 535 hectares.

Of these 460 assets, 74 are located in the Prishtina region and are part of 31 new entities, while 5 assets belong to 2 other entities in the Mitrovica region. The remaining assets/plots are part of other entities that were under the administration of the PAK.

The Board also reviewed and approved the monthly work report for March 2024 and made specific decisions regarding public tender sales and procedures related to the direct sale of assets. The list of assets for Public Sale LAS 72, which was approved in March, was updated with additional assets — increasing the number from 43 to 79 by adding 36 more assets.

During this meeting, the Board reviewed a significant number of direct sales recommendations, approving 31 cases for the commencement of direct sales, while 25 other requests were rejected. Additionally, 9 cases were approved with a final sale price. The Board also reviewed the classification and categorization of 3 assets in accordance with previous decisions.
