The Privatization Agency of Kosovo (PAK) held today the opening ceremony of sales bids no. 71 through the liquidation method and announced the provisional winners for the assets of Socially Owned Enterprises that were available for sale.

The bids were received at the "Conference Hall - Grand Hotel", in Pristina from 10:00, where the bid opening ceremony and publication of the results were then held.

The submission of bids by investors, the opening of bids and the publication of results were carried out in a transparent manner, in front of media representatives and investors present. The live broadcast of ceremony was also on the official website of the Privatization Agency of Kosovo: www.pak-ks.org, enabling all interested citizens who were not present in the hall watch the ceremony.

For 70 assets that were up for sale, a total of 36 bids were received and the total amount of the highest bids was €4,315,469.

All assets that were in the tender for sale, for the first time, also had orientating prices, with which the PAK has given bidders a clear orientation on the value of the assets and making the bidding process easier, more open and more competitive.

The Privatization Agency of Kosovo was established by the Assembly of the Republic of Kosovo and is spread and operates throughout the territory of the country. The Agency has the mandate and authority to sell or transfer Socially Owned Enterprises and their assets to private investors, always through an open, transparent, competitive and promptuous process.
