Today, the Privatization Agency of Kosovo (PAK) announced at the bid opening ceremony for the sale of assets through liquidation no. 60 through the public tender the provisional winners for the assets of Socially Owned Enterprises that were available for sale. For 36 assets that were for sale, a total of 52 bids were received and the total amount of the highest bids was €586,678.  

The submission of bids by investors, the opening of bids and the publication of the results were done in a transparent manner, in front of the representatives of the media, representatives of the Kosovo Chamber of Commerce and the Kosovo Chamber of Advocates, as well as the present investors. The ceremony was also broadcasted live through the official website of the Privatization Agency of Kosovo: www.pak-ks.org, enabling all interested citizens who were not present in the hall to watch the ceremony.

The bid opening ceremony started at 12:30 and was held in the Hall of the Grand Hotel Prishtina, where also the bid submission took place from 10:00 to 12:00 o’clock.

The Privatization Agency of Kosovo is established by the Assembly of the Republic of Kosovo and is spread and operates throughout the territory of the country. The Agency is vested with the mandate and authority to sell or transfer Socially Owned Enterprises and their assets to private investors always through an open, transparent, competitive and delay-free process.
