The Privatization Agency of Kosovo (PAK) held today the bid opening ceremony for Wave 72 of sales through the liquidation method and announced the provisional winners for the assets of the Socially Owned Enterprises that were available for sale.

The bids were received in the “Conference Hall – Grand Hotel” in Prishtina starting at 10:00 am, followed by the bid opening ceremony and the announcement of the results.

The submission of bids by investors, the bid opening, and the announcement of results were conducted transparently, in the presence of media representatives as well as attending investors. The ceremony was also broadcast live via official website of the Privatization Agency of Kosovo: www.pak-ks.org, allowing all interested citizens who were not present in the hall to follow the event.

For the total of 77 assets offered for sale, 57 bids were received, and the total value of the highest bids amounted to €4,356,048.

All assets that were up for tender had orientating prices, through which the PAK provided bidders with clear orientation on the value of the assets, making the bidding process easier, more transparent, and more competitive.

The Privatization Agency of Kosovo was established by the Assembly of the Republic of Kosovo and operates throughout the entire territory of the country. The Agency has the mandate and authority to sell or transfer Socially Owned Enterprises and their assets to private investors, always through an open, transparent, competitive, and timely process.
